Tesla Drives And Parks Autonomously Thanks To Autopilot Upgrades

Although the recently-announced hardware improvements to Tesla's Autopilot system won't offer consumers fully autonomous driving just yet, the company has released a video showcasing what the system is capable of.
Tesla believes will be the future of motoring where someone leaves their home and the Tesla drives itself completely unaided to work which in this case is a Tesla facility.
Having successfully navigated both city streets and highway driving, the blue Model X drops its owner out the front of work, scopes out the parking lot for a space and eventually parks itself with an expertly executed parallel park.
Making all of this possible are the host of upgrades which will now come standard on all Tesla models. They include eight surround cameras, twelve updated ultrasonic sensors, an improved forward-facing radar and a revised onboard computer.
Tesla says that fully autonomous driving will be rolled out to customers once the system is calibrated via real-world driving.
