short shifter is perfect and precise when shifting,money well spent.. install shifter,cage bushing,and linkage bushing.
only ***** part is removing push pin but everything else is easy.

It's not a bad install. The end result is a great thing definitely. Btw. What's up with that ground wire on the 2nd to last pic? It's exposed.
 
It's weird how Honda left it without an insulation wrap.
 
Well mine is a 07, but the ground wire connected to the trans is insulated. That wire will take a beating over time if it's exposed like that. You can just tape that with electrical tape or even better, a long shrink wrap.

Hmm.. So, this is worth it *no downside? I figure I can do this and their shift knob at the same time for my ILX..

There's really no downside, but it will give you a smile for purchasing it. It makes shifting feel stiffer and more precise.
