What Color Is Honda ATF

Because my receipt for my manual trans fluid change yesterday says under Parts: (3) 08200-9008 ATF.

I took the 17mm bolt on my sp man SI tranny top out today to check andd the new fluid is clear so I hope they just made a mistake on the receipt. Isn't ATF red?

ATF = Automatic transmission fluid & it is red.

MTF = Manual trans fluid & it is clear.

I hope they used the MTF on your Si and not the ATF. I don't know that it would hurt anything but I suspect there is a difference. If it's clear I bet it is the correct fluid and you should be good to go.

thanks nix. I'm about to jump into the car on a trip and am glad I checked the receipt. The stuff they put in is def clear, not red, and the receipt def says they used atf. idiots. plus they lost my keys and tried to give me someone else's.
