Me and my Pathfinder circa July 2007. That was about a week or two after I bought the truck. I was chasing down a fuel injector wire harness in Sacramento (photo at grandparents' house) because a mouse got into the engine bay and chewed the wires on the #2 cylinder fuel injector. Hauled to NY just a couple of weeks later to start my engineering career.

My list is rather short considering I've only been driving for 5 years. My previous car (also my first) was a 2001 Audi A6. With the 2.8V6 Quattro, and an Auto-tragic. It was a rolling piece of trash but it's what got me into actually working on my own cars. I've always had a passion for cars, but never cared to work on them until this unreliable POS came into my life. I had it for about a year and a half until the transmission decided that gears are pointless. Traded it in (got laughed at by the service manager when he saw the car, and only $500), and that's how I got the civic.

Beginning to drive is a learning experience on all fronts. When I first started driving I didn't have the cash to get my head gasket changed so I did it myself with a couple of wrenches and sockets. Didn't even know I had to machine the head or time the dizzy but again it was a learning experience. Fast forward about 14 years later and I'm still realizing I don't know jack about cars though it's a love hate relationship I obsess over and try to understand daily.

But I will say there's nothing like getting your car running and driving it after a big mechanical issue. Like I pull up to stop lights and wanna tell people "yea that's right, I got this bad boy running" then u realize it's a beater *** 96 accord lx. Lol.

Sorry for the rant. Nice car selection people!

They gave you $500 for the red Audi in that pic?

Yes, before I had traded it in, I was involved in an accident. Someone had rear ended me causing minor damage to the bumper and paint, as well as the front bumper and grill (I got hit hard enough to send me into the car ahead of me) The transmission was also on its way out. So when I arrived at the dealer, they allowed me to trade in the car as is, and with a check from the insurance company representing the guy that hit me, for the damages, which was about $1000 (the price for a new bumper covers, paint, and grille). Hence why I was only offered $500 for the car itself.

In order from most recent:

2009 Honda Accord EX coupe (traded in for the Civic when my daughter was on the way and two doors wouldn't have been fun)
2007 Chevrolet Silverado LT (traded in for the Accord when gas hit over $4 a gallon in 2009)
2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS (traded in for the Silverado when I was a dumb kid with too much money and a longing for a big powerful truck)
