It's the exact configuration I wanted - to find it in my area was incredible. 1 of only 2 Si Sedans in the state (both had nav) - possibly further. The other was Dyno Blue.

Came from a '12 Mazdaspeed3. I had looked at the '12 Civic Si, Mazdaspeed3, GTI, Genesis Coupe (Focus ST wasn't released yet) I believed the Mazdaspeed3 to be the most car for the money - and I leaned heavily towards wanting the most power/performance for the money. I got a nice deal on it and my trade-in, so I jumped on it. Nice car - a little juvenile and the build quality is no where close to the '13 Civic Si. I had rattles and clunks. It's a rocket, that's for sure... The torque steer and stiff/loud ride provide plenty of enjoyment for the weekends and backroads - but driving it everyday in highway stop-and-go traffic got old. I rarely got to use the car to it's potential. I didn't foresee keeping the car for years and years - so I got out of it now instead of later.

I've had a Honda CBR600RR and 2 Acuras.. so it's great to be back in a Honda product.

First impressions from 40 miles of driving: It's slower than the Mazdaspeed3, yes.. But I am honestly very surprised at how quick and nimble it actually feels. The ride is much smoother - yet still firm and responsive. The quality and design of every single piece of body panel, interior piece, door, knob, lever is better than the Mazda. Yet the car is lighter! I love Honda engineers.

Currently in a snow storm, so now pictures besides this taken at delivery.

Let me know if you have any questions as I've driven and/or researched most of the cars in this segment.

Welcome and fantastic looking cars, man! Your story sounded really familiar since I just got my DBP '13 Si sedan with navi on 26-FEB-13, and my salesman was fairly confident I may have the first in Oklahoma, but more certainly the OKC metro.

Nice ride! And your username is pretty funny. :giggle:

Welcome to the site.

Welcome! Great to hear feedback from users who have owned other cars at similar price points.

awesome, i wish i would have gotten the sedan as well. this coupe thing is getting old.
A year ago I had wanted the sedan... Then this time around I was thinking Coupe... But when I went for a test drive I realized that I wouldn't fit. I needed about an inch more headroom. I asked the dealer if the Sedan version had a higher roof - they said, "no"... So I let it be... Then I actually sat in one at an auto show and realized I fit! And then the wheels started turning ;)
you made the right choice!
What year rr did you have i had an 06 now that bike was a little rocket ship
'09 model year purchased new in '10. Yea, they are little rockets.. So much fun that's for sure! In traffic it was just a hot (literally) chore to ride - hunched over... I sold it for a few [now] stupid reasons.. but I'll get back on another bike at some point. I'm a fan of streetfighter style bikes - more upright and commuter friendly posture/stance.

I was being an idiot on mine and dumped it. I now have a really messed up shoulder and wont be getting another bike ever. It was 3 years of fun just wasn't responsible enough at the time to realize i was being an idiot... live and learn. It was so much fun on back roads but high way and traffic you are completely correct laying down was no fun.

AH, that stinks. You live and you learn (luckily).
How tall are you? Do the seats adjust well to your size?
6' 2". I have the seat cranked all the way down and there's a little extra room at my head.. Haven't tried wearing a hat or anything yet. The rest of the seat and steering wheel positions fit perfectly!

I swear the more members I see with 2013 sedans the angrier I get at getting a coupe, looks great man, any plans?
