Black Metal Anyone??

One of their best tracks:

Samael - Baphomets Throne

Show me the way to the baphomet's throne...

Official Video - Crap sound though, play the above link and watch this one, heh.

What was the golden age of black metal? Probably the early 90's when it all started. Everyone says the old stuff is best anyways. It's raw. True. Unfiltered.

1994:

Darkthrone - Transilvanian Hunger
Burzum - Hvis Lyset Tar Oss
Emperor - In The Nightside Eclipse
Satyricon - The Shadowthrone
Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas
Gorgoroth - Pentagram
Hypocrisy - The Fourth Dimension
Impaled Nazarene - Suomi Filand Perkele
Amorphis - Tales from the thousand lakes
Depressive Age - Symbols for the Blue Times

...few months before 1994:

Immortal - Pure Holocaust
Dissection - Somberlain

...and few months after 1994:

Dissection - Storm Of The Light's Bane
Darkthrone - Panzerfaust

and 1994: Tiamat - Wildhoney

I have no death metal thread. I think the cross over is very close. Anyways, had a crappy night out, been "sampling the collection" since I got home. Got some crossover death/deathcore that I like. Hate most "core" styles other than OG Hardcore but eh, this band seems to be finding their sound with a mix of death core/black metal. I haven't listened to a lot but I like this racket:

Carnifex - Drown me in blood

How did you know I don't like Metallica? Dang man, I didn't see these posts for over a month!

Ugh, Metallica.... cleanse your ears! Type O Negative! (if the link don't work right, FF to 3:15)
