235/40 is also slightly shorter than stock so you will gain a tiny bit of clearance from that.
Either way, that wheel is fairly aggressive so any extra width could cause rubbing...

Yeah even though my fenders rolled I don’t have much clearance so I don’t see that happening lol just gonna get better brand tires and stick with 215/45
