I noticed my filter was getting dirty the other day , I got this to protect it a bit.

The easiest way that I know of is to buy / have an amp that has high level inputs on it. That way you can get the signal form the sub and have the ability to adjust the level from the head unit. They also have high/low level input converters to run rca's to the amp.

I'm doing it as soon as it starts to warm up again.
