so true, I love your reply bro! hahahaha good stuff! sadly the first 3 year the car(civic or whatever) depreciates the most, after that its pretty slow. but to me a boosted K24 is the cats meow, sure the newest Si is much better in fuel economy, but seriously a boosted 1.5L doesn't hold a candle...
well as a buyer, I prefer to buy a used vehicle that's been modded nicely if I go the used route. reason I say this is because the mods were more than my 2002 tundra's price if I added everything up... generally speaking a person looking for a used civic may want to mod it anyways. I looked into...
what? no one bought a flashpro for their R18? for shame, i love my flashpro for my R18, my little civic definitely has more oomph and still gets great mileage. but the Weapon R intake manifold sounds quite interesting... but then its a injector swap too, plus plus plus... lol
how did the tune go bro? i was in the same boat as you, i did a general tune, then after having all the bolt ons, i decided to start my VITtune, altho im only a few flashes into my tune, there is definitely a difference with the tune from VIT. even tho i only have an R18, i feel its definitely...
I put a 8th gen PLM header(cat delete) into my 2012 EX and it rocks pretty hard, but like already said, really needs a tune(otherwise your engine will run lean)... also keep in mind the stock downpipe is too small, so will have to buy and install a larger diameter downpipe. 8th gen headers are...
gonna throw this out there, have an r18 and flashpro, still waiting on a tune from vit, but in the mean time. did a basemap, since no header option for the r18, but was a turbo manifold option. thought why not, worst will happen is will have to do a reflash. so far so good, not sure if I will...
Did a 8th gen PLM header on my 9th gen. Seems to work fine. I have a full cat back Tsudo exhaust. The header requires a downpipe, since I'm under the assumption the stock downpipe is too small, from my understanding this is normal procedure. I had to install the silencer in the N1 style muffler...
and my cheapo PLM 8th gen cat delete ... yes it does work with a 9th gen ...
cheap and easy to find on eBay, I'm sure all the others would work just as well ...
yes I should have done a how to ...
oh never mind, there is a 7/8" o2 sensor remover or just do what I had to do and make a slit in a 7/8" deep socket for the wire to have space. surprised how easily the o2 sensor untightened... thank goodness for google and youtube.
its hard to judge by pics, I never really liked the pics of the 10th, but I really do think they look mean coming at you in real life, totally get where you are coming from.... and as far as the hatch goes, 4 door, more "useful" storage, its a very versatile car. the wide body on the type R is...
so you would be the man to ask @Nix , I heard the Si injectors work with the R18, its a direct swap, if that's the case, would the accord's K24 injectors work too? the reason I ask is because they are pretty inexpensive if you shop around.... thanks!
