As much as I like the new Camaro, its girth and avoirdupois make it a bloated pig as Ken so aptly said. I have read that the next Camaro will be designed on a lighter, smaller chassis, which would make sense given the CAFE and emissions standards coming up. I would really love to see the Camaro...
Mike, from what I have seen, the Minnesota Tame or Lame, whatever you want to call them, will probably finish last in their division. The team has imploded and there is something seriously wrong there. You can tell it by how the fans react as well. Sadly, Minnesota has always been a state of...
Gorgeous car there. Looks tight. And, let me guess, the company from Canada was [drum roll please] Kplayground! If indeed that is where you got them, then no surprise as to the bad fitment.
Seems like this was done mainly for emissions purposes. Truth be told, I would rather have a 2012 USDM Si and have a Full Race turbo on it. I am sure it would be less expensive than the Type R.
I have always wondered why companies like Honda offer options as well as models that are offered all around the world except for the US. Is it because of our currency devaluation? I must assume that having options like these or models like the Type R would make the cars prohibitively expensive...
Duh, I wasn't paying attention. Not sure about exhausts and intakes for the LX. In time, the aftermarket will come out with stuff, but it is slim pickings at the moment.
Ken, your car is gorgeous. I would love to have a GS or Z06, but alas, they are a bit above my paygrade. Your GS is quite a quantum leap over the Si that you had. Have you done much to the car, or is it pretty much stock? Even bone stock, these cars are very fast.
I too saw this on Jalopnik today. Egads, I have to say that I am not at all crazy about the styling. What the heck is going on with Honda/Acura these days? Acura in particular has got to do something to turn things around in the styling department. The original NSX was such a great looking car...
Yeah, I saw this today on Autoblog and Jalopnik. Pretty decent time for a car that heavy. Sounds like the new ZL1 is worthy of the original moniker that the '69 COPO Camaro and '69 Corvette that both used the aluminum 427 big block. From what I have read, Ford decided to ramp up the power on the...
I highly recommend a Full Race 3" exhaust for your Si. I had one on my Si and absolutely loved it. Made 18hp over my 2 1/2 inch exhaust. Plus, it is not too quiet nor is it too loud. Sound was about as perfect as it can get. As for intakes, not much out there yet. If you look in your engine bay...
^ Kind of like Romeo and Juliet? I love fairlytales because they always have a nice ending. Christina, I can picture you looking out the window of a castle at Robert while he is giving a soliloquy. Then, Prince Charming goes into the castle, sweeps the fair maiden off her feet and together, they...
Sweet. 300Z, one of the all time Nissan/Datsun greats. I know the feeling. I traded my G35 in on a 2011 Evo for my son and I sold my beloved 2007 Si to a friend and former moderator from 8th Gen Civic and got an Evo X for myself. As you say, on to the next one, but there will always be a warm...
Very nice car. TW always looks good on Si's whether Coupes or Sedans. This is the first picture I have ever seen of the Si Sedan other than official literature from Honda.
So, is it true that the "imported" version barely makes any more power than those available in other countries? That would mean that Robert barely makes any more power than what is available here in the good old US of A. lol
