if you want to retain that little piece of steel, just install 2 washers under it and reinstall. I have not found it makes any noticeable difference when kept in place or removed for any of the cars we've had in here, but spacing it down slightly allows the larger exhaust to fit just fine...
all downpipes will remain 3bolt flange. only the catback's rear section is vbanded, particularly useful for anyone that wants to drop their exhaust at a track event or otherwise..
correct, all Full-Race exhausts now use "v-bands" for quick installation and quick disconnect of the exhaust, as needed. This is a higher end solution which we did not increase the exhaust price to accomodate. I think that most would agree this type of connection is superior to the 3-bolt...
yep that torque is what's really impressive to us, these 9th gens are making so much more power and torque at low boost compared to the K20 8th gen civic Si's... this is some of the most promising performance we've seen with the 7670. excited to get the car back with the metal IM and turn the...
i cant comment on the UR, but you really cant go wrong with Full-Race products for the K series engines... the amount of happy and satisfied customers we've heard from with this exhaust/DP setup lets us know we're doing something right
^^stock DP + 3" catback exhaust would be my recommendation. Some people would suggest otherwise, but if you dont want any headaches in cali, dont change the DP. catback is a non issue
hey hey, being in so Cal, that's all the more reason to use the round muffler.. its much more quiet and less intrusive. On the Full-Race exhaust they're almost stock-silent with the oem cat, and still very subtle with the catted DP -- a catless DP is definitely not what id recommend for socal...
yeah you guys are right, i should not take any of this stuff personally. i am passionate about this stuff and had a long day, looked at the user anomolies and this one set me off (im sure you can understand) but either way its a moot point, our kits are not for everyone and both have some...
have not had a 2013 in yet, but just got an email from a 2013 customer last week will get back to him asap.
You do not need to change the battery, it just needs to rotate. we will offer an excellent and simple solution in a couple months
no tangible difference in shifting feel to me, and Im picky. If youre OCD you can add a weighted shift knob or whatever but its a non issue, you just gotta make space for the IC pipes on this chassis.
the composite intake manifold works fine, look at all the new turbocharged GDI motors, 18psi...

give it a read, please let me know your feedback. I still have a few Type-Os and corrections to fix but most everything you need to know about turbocharging the 9th gen Si is in there along with a few tips ive picked up in...
