I need to drive my car 110 miles round trip to work 3-5 times a week. I sit in bad Boston traffic and also hit long spans of no traffic at all. So I'm not willing to potentially reduce the reliability or functionality of my daily driver. I never cheap out on anything I do to my cars and stick to...
I test drove a 2013 base model WRX today and fell in love. The feel, the ride, the sounds...all of it. Stereo is barely tolerable. With the bass past 5 or 6 the speakers distort and buzz on FM radio. Ridiculously low center arm rest...I'd definitely have to replace it with the extended one.
Good point. Hmmm. Silver is a rare color here for some reason. A local dealer quoted me $24,750 for a silver base sedan with fogs. I think I'm going to go look at it tomorrow am.
My big concern now about buying a '13 WRX is that the '14 looks to be a bit of a better car. So I might end up kicking myself for not waiting to either buy a ' 14 or get a better deal on a '13 when they try to clear them out.
Well, it needs to be at least a 4-door, as I have my kids in it sometimes when i dont feel like driving my crew cab pickup, and for my work stuff. I've never owned a hatchback and while I'm not totally opposed to one, I'd rather a sedan. Obviously I don't have a choice in that matter if I go for...
Just thought I'd update this here, and say that at 9600 miles today, when checked in the same spot after the same 10 minute cool-down from hot, the dip stick level is pretty much the same as my second picture above
Sorry that was a bit vague. I meant it grabs the rear wheels nicely and locks them up for good slides.
Back to the BMW discussion, I was actually thinking of trading my E39 from a couple of pages ago in on a CPO 328i with a manual transmission. I'd much rather a 335 but they seem to have some...
I've never intended to go with any engine bolt ons, but even so, I keep thinking about buying Flashpro anyways and leaving everything stock....just to get rid of rev hang. It sucks but it bothers me enough that I think it would be worth it.
I think the 1-series are a little too funny looking, but I think it's mostly due to just a couple of "questionable" character lines. With slight changes it could be a much nicer looking car. I've never driven one but I'd imagine even the 128 is great fun to wail on.
My 2003 525i w/ Sport package. I looked around for a long time and what I really wanted was a 530 with 6-spd but the ones I found were all beat and/or had lots of miles. I came across this one and it was pristine with just over 50k miles and the price was right. So I decided I was sick of...
Niiiiiiiiiiiiice. I'd love to lay in bed all day, feeding her grapes. And by feeding her grapes, I mean.....I'd better stop the little fantasy right there.
