If you've never been on a track, NASA is a good place to start. That's where I got my start.

Funny you mention driving someone else's car. I blew up my motor in my EF at an event about 2 months ago early in the day. I ended up coaching some of my friends there, and at the end of the day, one of them threw me the keys to his 9th Gen coupe. Felt just like home! Hell, I even ran...
We've been in contact via DM's.
I'm tracking my EF, although I blew up the motor a couple of weeks back. Oil starvation on those B series motors...should've baffled the pan first. Oh well. I actually picked up a CRZ a couple of years ago when I decided to make my old 9th Gen my dedicated track...
Yeah, buyer said it was a selling point in the car! Front bumper is the only thing that has clear bra, but everything else was just basic upkeep (wash every couple of weeks, wax every quarter type of deal).
Car was sold two weeks ago. I just now got around to uploading some photos from then.
Just in case you guys ever wondered what my ugly mug looked like;
I rubbed on a 17x9 +35 in the rear. Only after my most aggressive alignment did I eliminate the rubbing in street driving, but I still rubbed on turns that had imperfections in the road or at full compression at the track.
Don't quite know to be honest. Probably sticking to Hondas, although I had a couple of friends of mine approach me about piloting a car that they're going to build. I'm not a mechanic, I just like driving, and the three of my friends are more builders than drivers. They can never keep a car more...
I have my EF right now that I've been taking to the track to scratch that itch. It's been doing pretty well, but I think it's too nice to mess up. I've been looking on Craigslist to see what's in the area, but everything is either too thrashed or too expensive.
So it's happened. I've decided to part out my car and build a different car for time attack instead. Why? Because since the release of the Civic Type R, it's hard to be competitive because of the horsepower disparity and overall awesomeness of the car. The only way to combat that is to go with a...
Sorry for the late reply! I've actually been parting out my car.
It sounds like you're overdoing it for 2-4 times a year. There was a point where I was driving 2-3 a month, and I was using stock setup. Hell, even competing in Global Time Attack and Super Lap Battle, I was on stock calipers. The...
Here's a photo of me and the 1st place Fiesta ST going 2 wide into Sunset:
I'm parking the car for the rest of the year. It needs a lot of work, and I have plans, but I'm just a little bit burned out from this year. Between the car, my health, competition, etc., there's a lot going on. I'm...
Super Lap Battle came and went. I got my *** kicked. Pretty disappointed in my performance, but hoping to be back next year and podium. Waiting for pictures so I can update with photos.
I'll be competing in Super Lap Battle this year. It'll also be 5 years with this thing, so I figured it would be a good time to have a proper photo session with the car, especially since I'm planning on updating the look next year. Had a friend of mine take pictures of the car and it wasn't...
