you could take all the wheels off before the install too.
obviously you can take them off, and it isn't THAT big of a step, but if you don't need to do it why do it? why bother taping off where and going through the hassle.
The DIY says that you have to take them off, and that just isn't true...
You are wrong.
Do you think i took the valve cover off without removing the entire cowl?
You do NOT have to take the wipers off in order to remove a cowl on this car, or the 8th gen. plain and simple. you're mistaken
I know the cowl needs to come off. my point is why do the wipers have to? you can remove the cowl without removing the wipers.
are the wipers really in the way of the dp after the cowl is removed?
what i am getting at, is i took off the entire cowl (plastic and metal ) without taking off the wipers, and that gave me enough space to take the entire valve cover off.
If there is enough space to get the valve cover off, how is it not enough space to work on the DP?
edit: why would honda...
interesting to me.
i took my valve cover off and put it back on, i didn't take the wipers off... i don't see how the dp would magically make the wipers need to come off.
ill never buy anything but the dunlop star specs.... they didn't lose traction in 1st gear on 235/40/17 on my turbo build(380whp/280wtq) they were so predictable and made me realize how weak the suspension was..... love them... no matter what weather i was in.
Little update.
The HIDS have not had a single issue since the day I installed them. I ordered the relay harness and never installed it, still going strong without.(I drive in the dark every day)
I'll put it sometime this summer, but still no issue and they look as good as day 1.
Oregon DMV handbook says "mounted visible on the front of the car"
I have it mounted with suction cups on the front side and it is visible so i technically am within the law on it although i know a lot of people that get pulled over and hassled about it.
i have yet to ever have an issue with...
Damn! Lol I'm only running 35W ballast and I have no issues with flickering, one turning on before the other, or anything at all..... Just takes them about 5 seconds to warm up...(which they are cheap HID so I'm not surprised). I might buy a harness for them just purely for the quality of...
