my car has about 11k miles, I heard ppl talking about fuel injector / intake / throttle body (TB) cleaning.
I just poured a can of BG 44K in the tank before filling up tonight. unfortunately the can and the funnel did not hook well, some 44K got on the paint, I didn't see it got on the tire... I...
I just checked the oil , the engine is cold.
the oil is exactly flush with the upper dot mark. There are also two oil beads on the oil stick way above the upper dot, I am not sure how oil can get there. This might not be good, as oil expands a little in summer when the oil might reach beyond the...
I did add 4 quart bottles into the engine, and the 5th quart bottle has about 560 ml left (so about 378 ml poured into the engine).
I also added oil into the filter before installing it.
it is not so likely there is oil leak.
so I find it strange that the oil level is not near the full mark.
I changed the oil on Sunday and the car then sits in the garage until today. this morning I checked the oil dipstick before driving, and the fluid mark falls exactly in the middle position between the two dots.
I added about 4.4 Quarts oil on Sunday and the oil was almost flush with the upper...
very nice and informative video, thanks a lot.
but the task to mask the calipers and rotors makes the whole project big. I would rather take the wheels off to spray. but doing this for all four wheels just to conceal a little scuff on one of them is like overkill.
I think I will wait to...
Thanks for the info.
that looks still like too much work.
If only I could file those scuff using some grit paper. but since the wheel is painted and clear coated, this will not work.
so I have to wait and see.
The wheel looks like this:
so plastidip will make the whole wheel black, the same color as the car itself.
the silver color is probably machine-faced
so I will have to live with the scuff, just a minor aesthetic issue, or upgrade to 18" sets and sell the stock ones on ebay.
The wheel on my car took some dents on the lip, shown as below photos. Amazon has a wheel restoration kit but only works for non-coated alloy wheels. I cannot tell if there is clear coat on my wheel?

and there is a smaller scratch:
is there a way to file away the scuff that are...
can I find either Primacy or Pilot on side walls of the tire? or can they mix?
they are awful means the performance /gas mileage/ lifetime falls short?
I want to see Michelin Pilot Super Sports, but it really takes $$$ to feel the difference!
I think the stock ones are all seasons. I am in Cleveland, Ohio now, the winter has lots of snow. but since the snow is too heavy, I cannot drive in winter, but have to take bus and railroads. so I do not use winter tires.
can I ask for the part number of the stock Michelin tire that goes with this wheel?
if they are not good, do you have some recommendations? I thought Michelin is a pretty solid brand
I cannot seem to find the same stock wheel as on my car in you link. the car is a sedan 2013 SI 6 speed manual, I am not sure what NAVI or HPT or HPT/NAVI means or if my car is, but probably wheels are the same. is there the part number? if it is impossible to get exactly the same wheel, I will...
There are many inviting options. but the most economy choice is to just replace one tire that has had a curb rash.
I would have to upgrade the tires in pairs, right?
Hi
I want to find the part number for the stock wheel and tires on a 2013 Civic SI Sedan. The wheel has 10 spokes (should be), the tire is Michelin (17 or 18" I do not remember exactly). Do they have a part number so that I can get exactly the same stock ones?
Thanks a lot.
