It's not hard. I would defiantly solder and not use the POS wire crimp things they give you. Just remember to route the battery cable behind the cooling tube (you'll know what I'm talking about when you install it). I did not do this and still haven't fixed and every once and awhile I have to...
Alright, so today I tried using the subwoofer connector from the metra harness and also tried triggering the amp with the AMP CONT wire. Neither worked. Although, the triggering of the amp wire made the Power off display on the I mid. I guess the next step would be taking the other part of the...
I was thinking of trying to trigger it. Haven't thought about checking the continuity since it seemed everything else worked, but I'll give it a shot. Thanks everyone
Also, another question, I have sub woofer that I just bought. So if I just unhook the stock one and wire up the new one should everything just work? I do not understand how just plugging in the stock sub will make all the other speakers work.
I just got off the phone with the seller from China, I have to say this is some of the best customer service I have ever received, and he says that since I have the premium audio system I need to connect the original subwoofer wire. He recommends going to a shop, but I thought I would check here...
Or would this fix the issue?

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased one of those cheap ebay head units that are specific for my 2012 Civic. It is designed to plug right in to the factory wires without a harness. I hooked it all up and everything worked, except I could not get the sound to work for the life of me. I triple...
I don't have the ability to just spend an extra couple hundred dollars. Some of the navigation units were going for thousands. Plus buying a wiring harness, new mount, and trim. I was skeptical as well, but I did research and found a lot of good info to make a decision. It's a risk, but I think...
Not with navigation. I ordered the one that ron flood got in the other thread. I already had a problem that was completely my fault and the seller has been nothing but helpful. Replying to me very quickly multiple times and resolving the issue within 20 minutes of ordering. I've looked around...
Yea I've heard about the steering wheel problems. I'm not too concerned about that. I really like how the navi software can be changed since it's windows ce. I've been looking on various audio and car forums. I'll try to find some decent feedback and post it here.
Yea I've seen that thread. I was looking at that one as well. I honestly haven't read anything bad about either of those makers. I just really like the OEM look and the price is hard to beat. Plus they are all plug and play. I'd just like to know which one of these is the better option since one...
Does anyone have any experience with this brand? They make many units that look OEM for other vehicles as well. They're are just limited reviews online for the civic one.
