So I'm looking to make my first mod here soon by buying a set of coilovers. I have a '12 si coupe and is my dd. I want to drop it but not too much since i still want to run(maybe track every now and then but not my main priority it and not worry too much about scraping. I'd like to stay around...
Im planning on getting the FR catted dp tomorrow, would I have any issues as he did with the check emission system warning? ps: its full stock as of now
Thanks for the help.
I was thinking that would be like my 3rd or so mod maybe? I need a bit more power before the sway bar dont you think? I could be wrong, I'm somewhat new to this.
So I'm about to make my first purchase for tomorrow and I am going to go with the http://www.full-race.com/store/downpipes-dumptubes/honda-9th-gen-civic-si-3-all-motor-downpipe-2012.html as my first performance mod. Would you guys recommend something else to start off with as a first solid mod?
I think I'll be starting off by getting a downpipe, this one in particular:
http://www.full-race.com/store/downpipes-dumptubes/honda-9th-gen-civic-si-3-all-motor-downpipe-2012.html
And I'll be getting my exhaust next week but I still have to find the best one i can find for the right price...
Wow that looks like a great offer! If i were to get that about how much hp would it increase. Also, about how much do the tunes run for this upgrade would you happen to know?
I know the flashpro is pretty pricy what would be a an alternative for that that could also be a pretty good improvement. As for specific downpipes or exhaust systems, would you recommend any?
Thanks alot, I'm trying to learn this to the best of my abilities. I want to start off with at least 3 performance modifications that can give me the most hp gain for my buck before I add on a few appearance mods.
I recently bought a 2012 honda civic si and I am planning on turning it into THE Si of my dreams and I have some ideas but I'm not sure where all to start or to get the best prices parts. If anyone could help where any opinions or suggestions on how I should get started on it.
Heres what I had...
