    Exhaust

Buy a nice tip and take it to a local muffler shop and have them cut out the muffler and weld in a straight pipe. Leave the resonator in.

    Started using recommended shift points

I almost always use the shift points. The only time I don't is when I completely forget and shift lower. Definitely smooths the shifting; there is no contest on that. I'm 30 and drive like I'm 80, though, and have no interest in banging through gears past the VTEC point. Props to other...

Official 'What did you do to your car today?' Thread

Some people hate on it, but unless you like digging around in the bottom of the cupholders to shift, there's really no comparison. The Dimes Performance knob is really countersunk, and the 3" extension I had before was too shot, so I had to get the longer one made. I love the feeling of having...

Hey I'm new! Looking for wheel/suspension help

With those above numbers, you could run your factory tires and be fine. That's a safe offset range for the sportline drop, and you could probably even go up to +30 if you kept the 215s and not rub, as long as you don't go over bumps too quickly.

TruHart Sport Shocks for 2012 Civic Si

Well, I'm on General Altimax Arctic winter tires right now with a decent amount of camber in the back because I haven't put my camber arms on yet, so I think any attempt at cornering with my setup would not go very well. In addition to that, I drive like a super old man, and never push my car...

TruHart Sport Shocks for 2012 Civic Si

I think these would be great. And they come with a lifetime warranty, so as long as you can install them competently, they should be fine. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't last just as long as oem ones.

TruHart Sport Shocks for 2012 Civic Si

I haven't seen much information on the forums about these, other than the typical "are these any good?" threads, so I thought I'd post a short firsthand review of my impressions so far. Why I decided to replace my factory shocks: My car has 54k miles on it, so I decided to replace springs and...
