Help needed to verify Speed Bleeder part numbers for brake callipers

@ron v She sent me the same message! Their records are incorrect. I may try to send another message to correct her, and so they can update their website.

Help needed to verify Speed Bleeder part numbers for brake callipers

Alright, fellas! Got it sorted out. I verified with my bolt thread checker. I can even tell by looking at them side by side which is which. The thread pattern is obvious. This is for my 2012 Civic Si Coupe Front bleeder screw: M10 x 1.0, SB1010 Rear bleeder screw: M10 x 1.25, SB10125

Help needed to verify Speed Bleeder part numbers for brake callipers

I called Napa Auto Parts, and the manager was able to look up the thread pitch for both front and rear bleeder screws. His system is telling him both front and rear are M10x1.00, so that would be SB1010 for the Speed Bleeders.:mad::mad: I got my SB10125 pair in the mail yesterday. I...

Help needed to verify Speed Bleeder part numbers for brake callipers

Here are the 3 next to each other. SB8125, Stock rear bleeder screw, and SB1010, left to right. And just for fun, here's some progress photos of the project! BTW, got an email today that the SB10125 Speed Bleeders have been delivered, so I can attempt to install them tonight and get...

Help needed to verify Speed Bleeder part numbers for brake callipers

Yessir! I pulled the rear bleeder screw out, and went to thread the M8 Speed Bleeder. It almost fell into the caliper, it was so much smaller! lol.... I'll take a photo tonight of the rear bleeder screw and Speed Bleeder side by side. In fact, I'll take a photo of the front Speed Bleeder next...

Help needed to verify Speed Bleeder part numbers for brake callipers

Thanks for the input, sunofwolf. My FG4 is seeing 3-4 track days yearly. I will be using DOT 4 fluid, and thus it will need to be changed yearly. Dot 4 absorbs moisture more quickly. I just ordered the SB10125 Speed Bleeders for the rear. I'll test them out later this week when they come in...

Help needed to verify Speed Bleeder part numbers for brake callipers

Thanks for the quick response, Webby. I'm really thinking this is wrong. The rear bleeder screws are the same diameter as the front Speed Bleeders, which are M10. I haven't heard back from anyone at Speed Bleeder. I called and sent an email. I'm just going to purchase the ones that...

Help needed to verify Speed Bleeder part numbers for brake callipers

I'm reviving this thread because the information is not correct for my 2012 Si Coupe. I ordered the same part numbers provided. My rear bleeder screw is definitely M10, I just haven't gotten a hold of anyone yet at Speed Bleeder to confirm what the actual size is. For my 2012 Si, I believe...

Anyone Investigated OEM 2014 Si Rear Sway Bar Retrofit to 2012 Si?

Just to clarify, yes this can be done. For any 2012's or 2013's out there, the 2014-15 rear sway bar is a direct bolt on. However, the bushings and clamps and hardware need to be replaced as well. College Hills Honda is where I bought all my rear sway bar parts. It was an easy install.

Wider rear track (or wheel & tire) Bad Idea for racing?

I'd like to revive this thread because I am considering swapping my front brakes to Spoon Sports calipers and 2 piece lightweight rotors. I track 2-4 times yearly, and like to take curves fairly aggressively during daily driving(when safe). I have 17x9 +45 RPF1's, and would likely have to use...

    colored calipers

I have an extra set of front calipers. I was planning on having them powdercoated and replacing my current stock ones. I've decided to go with a BBK though, for track use. I can sell them to you if you're interested, OP.

    Christian12's black FG4 Build

Sorry to hear about the window. WTF?? I'm wondering if I should also be looking into a catch can due to blow by. I have the CTE kit, non-aftercooled. I'm also throwing the idea around to Water/Methanol inject into the CTE inlet. Just haven't decided if the risk of damaging the supercharger...

    Ct-e supercharger wait

Yes 3.6" and stock clutch. I doubt I'll need to upgrade the clutch with this setup. I gapped mine. Check the other forum. I did a pretty nice DIY. Haha... I wish... tuning with Vit is super slow. only 2 calibrations this week so far.

Big Bore Throttle Body - Calibration Tips

There is locktight on the screw which shows where the screw should be. Just turned it back to stock. I've been pondering whether or not the PRL ZDX adapter is the issue. I called and spoke to Spencer, and he said there is a version 1 and version 2 of their adapter. Version one is simply a slab...

Big Bore Throttle Body - Calibration Tips

The thing is, I changed one variable at a time. 1) installed TB, had idle issues. 2) adjusted screw, had idle issues. 3) loaded the above TB numbers, and had idle issues. I asked Vit last year when I was attempting to make it work, and he said to do the idle relearn and it's not something he...

Big Bore Throttle Body - Calibration Tips

Yes, exactly. I think I'm getting to the place of just giving up on it and selling the TB and both adapters. The idle relearn procedure is turning out to be such a pain in the ***. I've read that I need to hold RPMs steady at 3K, for 5 minutes straight. That is not exactly possible, and...

Big Bore Throttle Body - Calibration Tips

Yes, I did this on Saturday to no avail. Got RPM to hold at 1400 and plugged the TB back in. Restarted the car and the idle was still all over the place. Turned the car off and unhooked negative terminal for 10 mins, then fired up and idled decently. Then blip the gas pedal and back to idle hunting.

Big Bore Throttle Body - Calibration Tips

Can you post a step by step for the idle relearn? The ones i've been suggested to do are either too challenging or don't work. Holding the throttle at 3K RPM is impossible due to the throttle being so sensitive before the idle relearns. Is it true that an idle relearn procedure will have to...
