So I'm thinking of trading my civic LX in for an Si. I've given a lot of thought and really want to do it. Is there anything I should look out for when looking at Si's? For instance, I'm looking at this one linked below. I've seen the car in person and drove it. I've never owned an Si and don't know what I should of been feeling for. Any tips? Also what do you think of the price? Think it is a good deal? Of course I'm going to try to talk it down. Thanks in advance!

Forgot to mention. Not listed is the 7 inch display with Navi as well. If anything else is left off that you can think of. Just ask, I'll tell you if it is there.

I just traded in recently my 2 door Si for Tacoma and if I had to do all over again I would only get 4 door. More practical if you plan on having people inside your car. Never again will I get 2 door car unless it's weekend toy only. Check your insurance too you might be paying more for Si.

Mine has almost 40k miles and the dealer is asking $19k.

Why don't you wait few more months for the all new Si? It supposed to have turbocharged engine which should have more tuning potential

I'll only pay like 4 more dollars a month for insurance. I'm not worried about people being in my car and I'm not really liking the way the new civics are looking now. I prefer the 9th Gen look. I appreciate the advice!

If you could get like another grand off the price it wouldn't be too bad. If you're trading in your car, why not see what they offer you for it? They can play with numbers all day by either screwing you more on your trade to give you a better price on the new car, or give you better on your trade and not discount the new car much etc. It's just a numbers game, and the same goes for the interest rate they give you. They can make up more money by raising your financing. Call a local bank and see what kind of rates they'd offer on a used car before you go into the dealer. Credit unions are typically the lowest.

I always try to get an OTD Price close to what they're asking. That wouldn't be too bad.
