This is potentially your chance to help out as a staff member. We are currently collecting applications for mod positions.

What are we looking for?
  • We look for people that have been around for a while and have been a helpful member on the site.
  • Have you been answering questions that new users have?
  • Have you been providing helpful links to other threads on 9thcivic that may help someone out?
  • Are you actively welcoming new users?
  • Can you keep a cool head when faced with opposition?
Communication skills are a must. People who are good at communicating with members without getting into arguments is a an absolute must. We're looking for dedicated members. If you have a lot going on in your life and just enjoy browsing the site, a staff position is probably not for you.

Being part of the staff is very demanding. Being a member of staff can be very stressful at times, and it's a volunteer job. You may think a staff position is a great perk, but many users who've participated as staff may feel differently. You may be put into positions where you're forced to mediate situations, and deal with awkward situations between users. You may even become hated by users based purely on upholding the site rules.
