On 12 civic LX ( VIN # J xxxxxxxx ) which wire color on the 24 pin is for illumination for the after market deck for connection of the orange wire from head unit in ACC or the color wire for headlight switch to ON from a factory car deck or is it in the 20 pin and if so what color wire is it.

actually on 17p
a6- red also says detect illumination signal

actually on 17p i do not understand the mention a6 you mean the car deck

I don't follow what your question is I guess?

the back of the radio looks like this -

this harness connector is called 17p for the stock radio below. It also shows where it goes in the diagram above.
a6 port of that harness says detect illumination control: the red wire

This harness below is called 24p. It shows where it goes on the diagram in the first pic
A2 port on the harness says detect illumination control - red wire

Without testing it with a multi meter, I'm not sure if both are needed for dash illumination with headlights on or not. You'd have to check those two wires unless someone else here knows. If I'm still not understanding your question, please ask again in more detail.

so a2 is from the 24pin plug and the a6 is from the 20pin plug CORRECT! , using the fluke's dvm i can use the light probe when H/L sw when is energized ( to chk for voltage passing thru it) before using the acc to ON position
