Again, props to Christian Bale and Warner Brothers for supporting the victims and the families that lost their loved ones on the tragic event.
 
I give them credit... I didn't really expect that.

Even if someone was carrying and they were able to get off any shots, he was wearing a large amount of ballistic shields. From what I have read he basically had his whole body covered including a ballistic helmet. Going to be tough to aim at a very small area in the body that may be exposed when he has a high powered rifle. Push your wife to the floor, go for a double tap to the face from cover, if it's a miss just start firing at the chest while advancing and take the weapon. You might draw attention to yourself, but he's going to be dazed and hopefully someone else close to him wil step up to the plate(remember the 9-11 plane that was taken back from the hijackers ?).... Always shot from a lowered position so a miss won't hit someone else.

Also someone said "who'd know that was going to happen, and have a gun". In Virginia, in the where to carry for our concealed weapons, it says you can't carry in a church unless you think there may be a concern for someones safety (which in my book says I can carry there too).After all I'm not going to pull it out unless I need to protect someone.

"If you're going to carry, practice on targets, at the least, get some instruction in combat firing."

The news said there was a big increase in Colo to buy guns after the theatre shotting, guessing that ppl on the fence decided to pick a side to stand on.

There was a Southern state official that is/was a staunch anti-gun advocate that went public by way of shooting an armed home B&E. Enough said.
 
Shooting Suspect Charged Today:
Prosecutors have charged Holmes with 142 criminal counts in the shooting, the 24 murder and 116 attempted murder counts plus one count of possession of an explosive device and one count of committing a crime of violence. Prosecutors essentially charged Holmes with two murder counts for each victim - one standard first-degree murder charge plus one count of murder with extreme indifference.
