Grafixpressions has been working extremely hard on our own, ultimate version of the JDM Backpack for quite a while now. We have gone through a few phases of this awesome backpack and we are finally getting close to a completed product. We know this has been done before, but none of the products we've seem have been practical, more of a gimmick in our opinion.
For those of you who know us, we always strive to create unique and innovative products that not only provide amazing functionality, but are high quality and made locally in small batches.
For our version of the JDM Backpack, we wanted to make a lightweight backpack that not only would give that JDM appeal, but also be a backpack you could use daily and not have to sacrifice comfort or utility. To do that we looked at other great backpacks on the market and made sure we had a good amount of storage, a great feeling rubberized handle, similar to those on Oakley backpacks, stretch pockets inside the bag, a padded laptop sleeve, zippered front pouch with sections for pens and pencils as well as your cell phone (large enough to fit the new iPhone 6 Plus!).
We are getting extremely close to a final product, but we have a few more ideas that might really blow you away -- if we are able to get them done affordably! We are hoping to be able to offer a few different strap options for the final product as well.
More info to come when we have it, but if all goes well, we're hoping for a release later this year. We may open up a preorder once everything is finalized as well. Price is also TBD at this time. We've not only used bride gradation fabric on the front and back, but we've also used black bride fabric for the sides, top and bottom... the fabric is NOT cheap, but honestly, it's the little details that make this backpack above and beyond anything else on the market.
