The system I have is the Compustar 7200 brain with the Prime T10 remote upgrade kit and the AlarmIt upgrade to make it a full blown security system. I install these for a living so I installed it on my own car. Let me know what you think :)

Sorry for the slow response.. I've been super busy at work with black Friday coming up. What kind of remote start did you install? Mine had an idatalink Blade immobilizer interface built in that controlled locks, door pin, trunk and hood pins, trunk release and tachometer over data through canbus. If you have to manually wire in trunk pop then you will need a Directed Electronics 451m door lock relay because the trunk pop is 5-wire in these cars.

Not at all. Thank you for your help! The back of the remote says 700r. It's a Compustar. Like I mentioned it was in the car when in bought it. I know there's an idatalink box under the dash. I'll snap a few pics when I get to work. Do these help?

Sorry I've been busy with work and never saw you responded. It should handle trunk pop over data.. Did you try holding the trunk button down? I have pretty much the same bypass with the exact same firmware and it just worked
