Interior scratch repair methods?

I recently discovered a 2.5 in. scratch going down my dashboard/glove compartment door. It's nothing major but I just can't leave it like that. Wondering if anyone here can share any tips or tricks for repairing light surface scratches on the interior - dashboard, glove compartment, plastic trim. Any good products for this?

This is how people do it, but I wouldn't risk anything like this. Even if you got the factory color, I don't think things ever blend correctly & you end up with a spot that stands out worse than a scratch.

Try something like McGuires interior detailer, can't hurt!

Thanks guys - I ended up taking a fine tipped Sharpie dotting over the scratch while blending it with my finger/cloth. Can't even notice it anymore

Think I read someone once used one of those shoe polish pads. The one with the foam applicator on the end. Dabbed at it then wiped with a microfiber cloth. ..maybe?

That's not a bad idea. I sometimes use a shoe polish pad with Armorall as a tire shine, never tried it on the interior for scratches. Thanks!
