Hey all a little info first. I have had my FA5 for about a year now and have been rather busy working on her. I have gone through a few different mods to see what i like but below will be the current. I dont have pictures of everything current but hopefully i will get around to taking some to show you all soon.

some pics have the front SI emblem looking...painted? Car looks really good
 
its rather easy to do the inserts. I got mine off of ebay actually :-/. Just a little time consuming. I cant get on 8th civic from my house due to gettin banned sry cant get yah the like. Thanks webby. You can really use any fabric you want.

Its just a black overlay from grafxpressions actually. I had one on there rear also but when i did my plasti dip i just went over the si emblem and made it look a little more subdued. Here are two pics from doin the plasti dip in my garage last weekend.IMG_0757.JPGIMG_0758.JPG
 
isn't plasti dip rubberized coating? Or they make some type that's like a spray paint, orrr? I've never used the stuff. So your roof is black, and your trunk was sprayed a silver? Can you explain the process or what this does?

Of course. Plasti dip is rattle can or spray gun paint that after dried is a plastic coating. Kind of like a bra on the font of cars. After dry you can peal it off all at once and it wont ruin your pant or whatever you put it on. I did my hood roof and trunk to test what i think of the black on GG look before i painted for real. You can get kits online and customize whatever color you want. I have only found black at the stores. It is also great when you peal it off cause its just like doin a clay bar. I believe you can get a sample also from the company to see what you think. Hope this answers your question if not let me know :-D

that is wild.. have you ever left it on your car very long? What's it like when bug guts, or stones hit it...?
 
Bug guts wash off ok and it helps just like a giant bra against rocks. I had one take a tiny but of it off but no damage to the paint. It's an amazing product.
