New 2013 si new to the forums!

Hey everyone, so here's the deal, My name is Paul, I have a few rides, I have done lots of modifications to them all more than I care to list, but I have never joined a forum. Between my 93 lincoln mark 8 and my 96 ranger they've been modded a good amount but I have never showcased my work. Anyways quick run down. I used to have a 91 Acura Integra sedan factory 5 speed. I absolutely loved the car, however at 217k miles and being in the northeast it's whole life the rust overwhelmed my baby, she had to go. I had then bought a vw golf just to have something to drive, it was never the same, I missed my Integra. So I saved and saved. Finally, I got this 2013 civic si sedan. It is everything I wanted it's fun to drive and fills the void the Integra left behind. Here is a few pics that I have of her. This car also has factory nav, i got the window visors the moon roof visor, body side mouldings, door edge guards, all weather floor mats, trunk tray, splash guards, re engineered the ambient light kit that did'nt put out enough light for my taste, i got a couple other things too. Also I installed the k&n intake before the car even had 350 miles on it, when I picked her up from the dealer she had 2 miles on her, took a month to special order too! worth the wait i love this car, I did get the 18 inch hfp alloys at the time of purchase too!

I really like the sunburst orange pearl, it is really sharp, I was torn between sunburst orange pearl, the rallye red which just screams pull me over, taffeta white and crystal black pearl, but the black drew me in, like i told my sales man, I like my cars like I like my coffee, black like death. Most people get a kick out of my logic while others take offense, such is life I suppose. I am very happy with the crystal black pearl its very sharp.

Webby I have been reading your posts for quite some time as a guest, however I would like to personally thank you for all the d.i.y videos and the serious hours you and the rest of the staff here put into making this forum the great hate free zone that it is. Also i will add myself to those for sure, thank you! I work somewhere around 60 hours a week so my attendance may be random however I will always be around. And thank you for the compliments, i just did more today, I have almost like a rare form of add when it comes to my cars, I can't leave anything alone lol, you will always see changes.

I too was upset, funny story i got the car home I was like wheres the lights, the 12's have the switch and yet I don't have one, I went back to the dealership and the mechanic showed me they come on with the parking lights, and that there was no switch. I was like that's adorable, I drilled a hole in the caps like shown somewhere else in the forum and that made it some what better. All I did was add a flexible 24 inch led strip under each side of the dash and 2 6 inch led strips staggered for the center console. I will take pictures of the layout when i get out of work, the 13's didn't get the center console ambient light, why I don't know and I wanted them so I did this. There's on strip under the climate controls and another directly under the pocket where I keep my sunglasses. Igot the led strips at autozone. The 24 inch ones come in a 2 pack Theyre called max led. They're really bright, then I just got the regular led strips in 6 inch, they come 2 per pack. I unplugged the factory lights hooked the wires from these leds up to those wires, I hooked the door under dash lights to where the drivers side ambient light connector is and the 2 center console ones go to the passenger side connector, I will be adding 2 more strips under the front seats to light the rear floors up. Be very mindful they are really freakin bright. It doesn't bother me personally but some people it might be over whelming, the nice part is they still dim with the gauge cluster like the factory ones did so its not too bad.

heres a picture of all my cars, as you can see from the outside ive done a lot to them, you should see the inside especially the truck, ive done power windows and locks to it i used 2007 dodge nitro window switches for the power windows i installed a keyless entry system and can open close and vent the windows from the remote, the truck had manual windows, i designed the circuitry and made the wire harness for the whole thing myself. i added factory fog light option, theres more done the the truck than i can even list, ill be here all day and i havent even mentioned interior mods, the 93 lincoln mark 8 is my baby, theres so much work done to that i cant even begin, from the custom hand made billet grille to the 4 inch hand made cowl induction hood, thats only the start, i love all my rides and as you can see from my brand new si's sisters shes in good hands and will be toyed with for sure!

Hey guys been busy with work and what not I haven't had time to get on while I was gone I figured out the fog light mod with stalk control I have to post that up. Yes the Lincoln screams its by no means the fastest thing on the road but for its size and weight it hauls ***. It holds its own against some pretty quick cars. I drive it on the weekends I get so mad every time I drive it either someone tries to race me or every idiot is on the road and I swear tries to hit me. Plus it only runs on premium fuel and is not good on gas by any means I still love it though

Thanks, i anticipated most of you guys liking the si better, mainly because this forum is biased toward civics, (duh!) lol i do like the fact that no one hasnt made any negative comments about either the other 2 that makes me happier than any of you know, thats why i never joined other forums because of that i have a very diverse collection, those are my vehicles however my dad also has a 2002 gmc sierra 1500 a 2006 chrysler 300 a 1998 mercury mountaineer and my fiance has a 2001 ford excort zx2, we all just love cars not just one brand. you guys seem to embrace vehicles in general for what they are and not bash on every car that isnt the brand on the forum like everyone else seems to do. i have a bunch of pictures i took between changing the fog lights up t he fog light mod with stalk control i did on my civic and i did the red jdm hazard switch, theres a funny story behind that lets just say the 12 and 13 civics mount differently so my hazard triangle symbol is crooked >.< ill upload pics of that when i get a chance youll see what i mean. i have a bunch of things planned so stay tuned! thanks everyone for the warm welcome!
