Spirior Honda Concept Car

The front end looks like the current Acord Hybrid's front end and the read tails looks very bmw-like. Overall, it's not a bad looking car.

It might just be the proximity and lighting, but I strongly dislike the front end: too busy, too much plastic, too much like a grinning Joker face. And the new lines and seams intersect at harsh, clumsy angles, especially at the back. Smooth lines have always been a Honda strength! I wish Honda would bring a subtler aesthetic into their North American models. Don't be like Hyundai: just because you can add more swoopy curves doesn't mean you should! The tailpipes stick out. The grooves in the hood are just going to collect dirt. And the chrome mouldings have to go.

The name alone puts me off, like the word is spoken by some pompous little bon vivant with a lisp: "Spirior."

Anybody else in a critical mood this evening? I'm still VERY happy with my 9th Gen Coupe!

I didn't know Honda was going to start producing the 2014 Toyota Camry.

I sense American influence. American designers have a tradition for 'glitz' and 'muscularity,' hence the increased stress on chrome and square corners contributing to a feel of 'bling' and 'boxiness.'

Upon first looks the red one was aesthetically pleasing, but the front on the silver is terrible.

The longer I look at the pictures the more I see that I don't like. The front grill is terrible. There is almost as much chrome on the car as the 1967 Buick I had....and that was from an era when chrome was popular. Overall I think the lines of the car are ok, but the chrome accents are just too much, especially as side molding. Also they could stand to ditch the square exhaust tips. Leave that to Dodge.

Upon looking at this car again it reminded me of something....

Supposed 10th gen Civic compared with Spirior

It is very similar in body style.

Modded TLX? I would say modded ILX but looks too big.

Not bad overall.....

That green wagon in the back.....looks like. Fit and Civic had a baby.

Would look so much better with that black piece painted red like the rest of the car. I actually like it. V6 + 6spd manual and I'm in.:thumb:
