Just thought I would point this out, the stage 2" kit that our vendors offer for the ct-e superchargers actually voids the blowers warranty. Can anyone explain why that is because that's the one I ordered. Sorry for all the posts fellas. Just trying to get as much info as I can after spending as much as I did. Thanks.

You're expecting warranty on anything boosted?! It's called self insured get that reserve fund ready
He meant the warranty on the supercharger itself, not Honda's warranty.
I just want to know why its voided.
Not sure exactly, I'm guessing because it's more aggressive (more boost) they don't want to be liable if a more aggressive tune causes damage to the blower or other parts.

because you're probably boosting higher than recommended by CT-E with the diff pulley

Makes sense. You can close this if you want I'll start pm'ing if I got any other questions.

Post them here instead, so everyone can see. I just meant if you're in the garage and need quick help, pm is a faster way to get a hold of me

I wondered that as well. If you look closely , it also mentions using their supplied tune to maintain warranty. Which makes me wonder how good that tune is?. Must be pretty good / safe if they will warranty it for 2 years. Im thinking of using the supplied tune for a bit before I get Vit tuned again.

The supplied tune is only for the stage 1. Stage 2 you're on your own

Lol scary so I better have that retune from vit ordered then before install huh. Man why do I always get into the expensive hobbies lol!

Yea Vit will supply you with a stage 2 base if you're tuning with him

If you don't mind me asking , any reason why you didn't tune with vit?
I wish I could but living in the city, I'd have to drive pretty far to even do pulls to tune with him. People say do it on the highway but highways are banked and curved around here which throws off tuning and there's usually cops on the straight bits.

ahhh ok gotcha.

I used the interstates in Montgomery while I was away from ND. That will probably be my game plan here as well. Simply take the slow lane and leave your hazards on while you are slow. Do it at a time when traffic is low.

When going stage 2 (smaller pulley) you are spinning the impeller gears/shafts and snout bearing under higher load creating more heat and wear. These chargers are stout but like any mechanical device, the chance of failure increases as more stress is added. That said, I've been running mine for over a year with the 3.15 and now the 2.95 pulley with no issues.
