Jason- I saw an SPT for hatch on 3GWRX for $500. Saw a few others that were single exit for fairly cheap as well. I don't want single exit, so I passed them up. Good luck in your search. I'll keep an eye out too.

 Just pick both a swaybar and a exhaust Jason and call it a day..... LOL

Not that easy, gotta get endlinks and reinforcement bars for the swaybar mounts. I dont wanna throw the money down for all that and a brand new exhaust.

I dont think I want a single, they just dont fit the car right, and look ricey many times.

I wanted my car louder. So I got a vibrant. Needless to say, two months later, I sold the vibrant.

I just bask in the sound of CAI and :vtec: now lol

The sound of a cai on a turbo car gets annoying after a while, cai on an si is sex though.

Cbe on a stock sti isnt very loud or annoying, unless its an n1 / tic.

I wish there was something quiet for my car that actually made a difference. Maybe I'll just get my buddy with an exhaust shop to fab me up 2.5in midpipe with a huge resonator hoping to keep it toned down.

I honestly think my car sounds perfect with just an intake. Skunk2 is making a new header called the Alpha and its only 380 for a race header. I'd love to get one and mate it up to my stock exhaust.

I heard that header was being made with cheap materials though. I'd do it if i had an Si, but you gotta wonder how long it'll last.

Yeah, not 100% sure if I want to smell no cats either...... But everything i've read says GET A HEADER. Apparently it's the best thing ever for the SI.

Yeah it is the best. I took mine off of my r18 cause it was too loud and the smell of exhaust got to me after a while.

I've seen a bunch dynoed with and with out header. The header makes a huge difference.

Wish I could get only a downpipe, but the stock tmic starts to blow apart at stg2 boost levels, Im really satisfied with the power it has now, I just want more sound, the stock si is much louder than a stock wrx

So I'm thinking about maybe going to an officer training school for either navy or air force to get into meteorology. Does anybody know what OTS is like? I DO NOT want to go through anything that is like basic training lol

Cats were the worst things to happen to the performance of cars. Eff the baby seals. Kill dem bichez! I was catless on my old WRX, and the smell never bothered me a bit. Couldn't even smell it sitting in the car. The person riding behind would, I'd imagine, but who gives a damn about them?!

I agree with Jason- the stock SI sounds great. Our cars are ridonkulously quiet though, and I hate it. I wish it had just a little sound.

my buddy went to west point. its no cake walk, physically but especially mentally. It is a real commitment. Plus you need to get recommended to get into west point anyway. i dont know about the other branches.

Cats do suck. only reason smell got to me was because of riding with the windows down.

Id go catless on an n/a car, but I worry too much about boost creep. I really wanna leave this car alone for the most part, an exhaust & minor suspension upgrades are fine. I'll get a true project car later.
