Exodus - Tempo of the Damned

I have officially beaten one *** to track 2 "War is my shepherd" while screaming along at a live concert.... F yeah..... also while wearing my Porno Sportcoat..... Starts at 6:41 - the beating was from 10:45 to 11:06 screaming "WAAAAAAR!!! WAAAAAAR!!!"

Man I love these guys.... this was a weird album by Exodus in terms of what they usually put out but I particularly like it.... Especially "One Foot In The Grave" and "Count Your Blessings"

Exodus - Force of Habit (1992) see 2004 is "recent" hahaha

My favorite tracks are 6 & 7 starting at 22:23, good day to die at 56:10 is excelllent as well. The youtube page will have the tracks and clickable time stamps. When it rains it pours is pretty funny too.

Testament - The Gathering (1999) One of the best albums Ever. Of. All. Time. ( Kanye can go to hell)

Drumming by Dave Lombardo of Slayer - one of my favorite drummers ever. So much feel. People ask me "whats the best metal drumming you have ever heard?" It's hard to choose but this album is just awesome. Drums are killer.......

If you have never seen a legendary band play live.... this is from London. You will never hear a better version of Electric Crown. Listen to that solo from Alex Skolnick between 3:00 and 4:00. The guy played with Testament forever, then moved into Jazz/Fusion, then came back. I have never heard such a tight concise solo with such focused shredding and feeling. The guy just plants his feet and annihilates this section.

Also the drummer here is John Tempesta of White Zombie fame who also played on Exodus' album Tempo of the Damned posted above. Crazy small world isnt it?

QUEEN IS THRASH! 1974 -Freddy Mercury going Stone Cold Crazy!!!! I don't know any earlier thrash metal bands than this. Besides this one is great and it actually isn't horrible "punk-pseudo-early-thrash-crap. This is legit thrash metal.

Young dudes carrying the torch well.... No it's not perfect and "genre" as some of the old classics but hell, these dudes are doin it well. Applause from a guy who only loves "trve" black metal... If this was a parody song they nailed the sound. However, this is serious new thrash and I love it. This is right.
