"16 and Pregnant" Girl Accused of Trying to Steal Pregnancy Test Kit

FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. - A Georgia girl who appeared on "16 and Pregnant" has been arrested, accused of trying to steal a pregnancy test kit.
According to the Rome News-Tribune , 20-year-old Whitney Purvis was arrested while trying to take the kit from a Walmart store on Thursday.
Purvis apparently tried to hide the kit in her hooded jacket. Purvis is facing a misdemeanor charge for the alleged shoplifting incident.
Purvis and her mother appeared on the MTV show in 2009.
