Has anyone installed a aftermarket radio in the 2014 model? If so what functions will I lose if any
There's several posts already about aftermarket installs. You can browse around them. But to your point, you will need a steering wheel interface adapter to retain those controls. There is aftermarket double and single din radio trims out there. At first I was planning a full swap but I've changed directions and I'm debating a dsp to the factory unit and aftermarket from there. Plus, and I'm not 100% on this, you won't have the radio info displayed on the imid on your dash if you swap out the radio unit. Unless someone has figured out how to do that. Other users on here are more proficient at pointing out specific threads pertaining to what you may be looking for. Best of luck to you. Oh, one more thing, if you decide to use the carbon fiber looking radio trim from a dealer you might have to fabricate and additional radio trim to fit whatever aftermarket head unit you decide to use. It's all a bit of work but I think those that have successfully did the swap are satisfied with their achievements.Has anyone installed a aftermarket radio in the 2014 model?
