the si was a good mix of fun and practicality. But alas the boy racer image, and the compact car dimensions are catching up to me and I think I want to change for something else? I want some thing reliable, practical and fun without a racey image (no lancer evo) nor screaming "I'm richer than you" appeal (no Audi/Lexus). So I'm definitely looking for a conservative sedan that I'd feel okay opening up occasionally. Budget is 60k

Short list
2013-2014 Acura TL SH-AWD (manual)
Buick Regal GS
Volvo S60 R-design

I know there's gotta be more options.

Have you looked into the Cadillac ATS-V? It's a very good looking car and a mature sport sedan.

the Chevy SS is pretty good. Yeah I don't want a Cadillac as its a luxury brand.
