Kitten rescued from three-inch pipe
Firefighters in the small northern California town of Redding rescue a four-week-old kitten from inside a metal pipe.
A member of the public brought the three-inch metal tube into the fire department after hearing the trapped animal's cries.
Firefighters used a mechanical pipe cutter to gently free the kitten, which they named "Piper".
"Piper" has since been adopted by a local television station employee.
