Well, not much of a DIY because it is so simple to do and takes 5 minutes. Much thanks to @P2R for the part.
Tools needed: pliers or wrench
Here is what the stock tie down looks like compared to the P2R one. Note that the stock one was black and the P2R one was silver but I painted both blue. I think P2R has red as another colour option.
Take off black plastic attachments by simple pulling them up and they will slide off.
Unscrew the two nuts off and take the prongs out of the small holes at the bottom of the battery tray. You can see the prong in the hole in the picture below.
Take off stock battery tie down and both prongs and put your new P2R one on.
Done! Tooooooooo easy.
