Hello,
I managed to catch a smaller metal post on the way into my garage a few days ago, resulting in some scratches and a smaller dent on the rear driver-side door of my Si, as well as a very deep dent in my quarter panel just behind the rear driver-side door. Below are pics of the damage. I'm wondering what the most cost effective way of repairing this would be (ideally my dad and I would do it, just would like some advice on how to do it).
I've so far gotten estimates from 2 body shops, one of them estimating $1210 taxes in, the other estimating $735 taxes in for the repairs. I think with some rust treatment, touch-up paint, and dent repairs, I should be able to live with it. I definitely do not have that kind of money right now :-(
