So the next couple modifications I've been wanting to do is lowering springs/new rims. However, I'm not sure if what I had in mind is possible. Assuming I threw on the Skunk2 lowering springs which would drop the car about 2.25'' in the front and 2'' in the back, would 17x8.5 wheels fit on my car (2013 civic si sedan)?. Also, would it be possible to stretch the tires from the stock wheels (17x7) on a set of 17x8.5 wheels, or is that pushing it a little too much?

Get you some 17x8 and the 215/45/17 would be fine on that setup. Offset is the biggest key to our fitment. Stay around +35 and you're good. How much are you wanting to spend on the wheels? I know where some REAL wheels are located right now that would look amazing on your red SI!!!
