ooooh man, so tempting, too bad my dad's birthday is on the same day >_< otherwise I would definitely take the trip up to springfield for a big meet like that
BTW Dar-Dar, I see you live up north in NJ. I wish I lived a little close to East Rutherford, I would love to go to a meet. Sadly, there aren't any civic meets in the ocean county area...At least that I know of, lol.
Yup, that's exactly what I figured, so most likely eibach pro kit to save me the headache of having to worry about camber, lol. Can't thank you guys enough for solid information :)
Wow thanks for the great info! You answered everything I wanted to know. I am aware I will need new shocks sooner when installing springs, either way I will either shell out the money in the future when stock struts/shocks blow, or if I decide to go with aftermarket struts/springs combo. I think...
Thanks for the
Thanks for the reply! I am running 225/40s, you think I will still have good clearance? Ok cool, I will look into the godspeed camber arms and see if they are within my budget, and is very reassuring that everybody that uses them hasn't had any issues with them.
Hi guys, fairly new to the forum here, and more importantly, new to suspension mods. I have never had a lowered car before, and I have decided to lower my 2013 civic sedan in a few weeks. I've been doing a lot of research to gain some insight, but the more I read, the more questions I have, and...
Ok so the rims I test fitted stuck out way too far, the +20 offset on 18x8 was just no good...returning them tomorrow. I saw a set of XXR 530 18x7.5 +38 offset. Will that fit without sticking out from the wheel well?
I'm not crazy about coilovers (for warranty purposes) but it might be something I would consider in the future if that will help the wheels sit a little flush
I was going to go with 225s, but my I spoke to my mechanic before, and he recommends 215/40, but I'm going to the shop tomorrow to test fit the wheels and see what needs to be done if any adjustments need to be made. I'm definitely not down to go for tire stretching haha. I'm not crazy about...
Hmm, well will my wheels stick out like a sore thumb, or should I just exchange for a set of rims with a higher offset? The rims I bought also come +40 as well. Would +40 be better?
Sorry, I meant "I" I'm on my phone so sorry for the typo lol. I'm not sure how offset works exactly, but the lower the offset the closer the wheel is to the suspension, brakes etc..
