Yep! She’s been running perfect and reliable so I haven’t changed a thing. Thinking of upgrading to a fuel return, bigger injectors and a 100mm pulley, but not in a rush. It’s so much fun as is already.
The other day, my 13’ Si had a dead battery due to leaving light on. I jumped the battery, and electrical system is doing fine, starting and charging ok, and battery is maintaining charge perfectly. However, now when I try to reupload the tune, it will not load. It runs through the upload...
So I was cruising around in the Civic last night, doing some very "spirited" driving, ok, some racing and very fast driving. It was the coldest outside that is has been since I got the car boosted. Air temperatures were around 31F, intake air temps 41F. So needless to say, the car was making...
Well, after a few months, and 33 revisions, tuning is now complete!!! Runs and drives like a dream!!! Pulls hard with plenty of power, and its delivery is smoother than silk.
Just had these installed today and could not be happier!!! They bite down with so much more force, yet are smooth as silk! Zero sound. I feel so much more confident and safer now with this kit on the car. It was a complete package, all four rotors and all pads and hardware, $390 shipped. I...
Ive seen this debate a lot, especially when I was looking into boosting my own car. After reading countless threads, and tons of information about each system, I came to one single conclusion. Its simply preference. What I mean by that, is that each system has its pros and cons. Where one...
Ive never done it in a Civic, but I did it a few times in a 500 hp mustang lol. The stock shifters in the '07s were garbage, and I swear they WANTED to go from 3rd to 2nd everytime. Before I replaced it with a better shifter unit, Id say I did it about 4 or 5 times, 2 of those being at the...
I ran this belt size with my 110mm puulley, because it came with the kit. It was loose, causing belt slip and only 8psi of boost. That was with tension adjustment screw at max tightness.
I replaced it with the K060721 and it has worked great. Consistant 12+ psi
My average is 12.5. Hits...
Think I found the answer.......
........on a serious note though, Vit had the following response
" May need more work to the tune. The 2800 miss is common behavior of injector induced misfires/hesitation. INjector swaps don't always cure it. Very common on these motors int he 2500-3500 rpm...
Since I got my Kraftwerks kit put on, Ive noticed kind of a bad bog/hesitation around 2800 rpm. I informed Vit who is doing the etuning, and was told that it was a mechanical issue, i.e injectors, clips, plugs, coils. I quickly ordered and had instaled new injectors, upgraded to ID 1050x units...
