02 civic and 12 si need hids!

2012 civics are 9006/hb4
2002 civics are 9003/hb2
 
Hm how come the option for the 02 civic is $20 more??
 
Because the 2002 Civic uses a dual beam bulb (hi/low).
 
not too sure why it costs more. regardless 30$ for a quality hid kit is a steal.
 
Ohh gotcha but could I choose the option above the $20 one if I just want the headlights to be hids instead of the hi and lo beams?

Yeah. Because your car has separate sets of bulbs for low and high beam. The 2002 does not and requires the 9003 to be high/low.
 
Ohhh ok so if I were to just get the low beams for the 02 then she wouldn't be able to use the high beams at all is that correct?
