just wanted to let everyone know that the 06+ civic sedan hitch does fit the '12's. both the draw-tite and hidden hitch models will fit the '12's. Just pay attention to model notes! not sure about the coupes.

that is great info to know. Do you use yours for a bike rack?

both brand hitches for the 06+ i mentioned are CLASS I hitches... 2,000lb towing capacity and 200lbs tongue weight. perfect for a bike rack or cargo rack of any type. even a small trailer if you want but i will not be using it for that
 
yea i was worried it would look silly. glad it is tucked nicely, looks like an oem option :)
