650whp or bust

You just spent so many months and so much $, and now you're just going to part it?????

Unfortunately yes. The next step up transmision wise is a PPG dog box. There's no point of of spending 2-3K dollars on a set of Gear X or MFactory gears again when I'll probably end up breaking them as well at some point. And I don't think I'm fully committed on paying 6K dollars for a dog box setup on a daily driven car. Especially with paying 7K tuition a semester for school ;(.

You said 500tq for their rating yet you were at like 430tq when it broke, yes? Do they offer any type of warranty in your situation? I'd understand if they broke and you were at like 600tq, but you weren't. Seems like they should stand by their product.

I was over 500tq. Made 430 on 22psi with super low timing. On 28-29psi which is what the pull was, I was at or above 500

It's out

5th and 6th gear synchro is toast. Such a shame because I can't buy an oem replacement. I have to buy a whole new gearset or a synchrotec pack. On the search for an oem used one

Waiting to see what I can find online so that I can press the Mainshaft bearing back in. The stock gears look so small and cute lol:rolleyes:

I'm also curious.....all motor? Turbo+ supercharged? The possibilities are endless!

Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Just stock block turbo setup. Tossing in oem fuel pump, 1000cc injectors, maybe even a stock clutch and daily driving the car reliably at around 330-350whp. I was tossing the idea of buying another kW kit or a cte kit, but there's no point of selling my kit to buy another kit. I'm also not a big fan of superchargers. And running a twin charged setup on this car and platform will be very very inefficient. Car will be limited by the power of the supercharger

Currently assembling my stock motor. The car should be running by the end of the week or sometime next week if I can find the spare time between school and work to reassemble the head, and timing components

you may have luck with them ^. Nix has said he's used them to find stuff in the past.
Awesome. I'm going to have to give them a call.

On another note this bad boy is ready to go back in. Kinda contemplating on buying cheap h beam rods and Wiseco pistons to drop it and have a "mild build". Probably not though, this is just me talking out of my ***
