I know to use the 8th gen flywheel, but will the entire clutch kit for a 8th gen work on my car? This is the one I was thinking of going with.

His point was that the stock clutch is capable beyond what any bolt-on hp/tq numbers are. It holds beyond 240 at the wheels, which is about max hp on non turbo/supercharger 9th can make.

Stock will hold all the way up to 300 whp. Don't waste your money on a new clutch.

It's the fact I already had a stage 2 when I had my car tuned.

What do you mean by already had a stage 2? Do you mean a stage 2 clutch? You do realize the "stage" is arbitrarily set by manufacturers. When you buy a clutch, you just want to make sure it is rated to hold the power you are making.

Either way, if your current clutch is stock or aftermarket and in working order, don't worry about replacing it.
