A/C Tax on Engine Power

Another thing with having your a/c on is heat soak. The Si at least stacks condensor/radiator instead of the old school side by side. Being stacked in theory will pre heat the air prior to hitting the radiator with your a/c on. This will make your cooling system run slightly hotter allowing heat soak to occur quicker. As quick as these things are I'm already wanting more power so a/c off for this guy and a flashpro my be in order.

What's more annoying to me than the loss of power is the regaining of power when the compressor turns off.. I feel a little bump / jolt and doesn't make driving smooth.

I own an Si, and this is noticeable greatly for example in third gear and 4k RPM.

Any body feel it too?

A tune will be able to know when the A/C's on to make the power band smooth?

I have a manual R18. It is a bit jarring to drive with the accelerator compared to when the A/C is off.
