That was the idea. I cutted the mask to do it, but it did not stick good enough to paint it.

Installed Modulo pedals. They look very cool!!

Changed the mirrors base covers for color matched ones. Never liked the black ones. Cheap mod (each is 18.50 plus s/h and tax) and easy to install.

Installed LED door sills with a small twist. In my car, the four of them do not light at the same time when a door is opened but each lights independently when the correspondent door is opened and all the circuit can be turned on-off with a switch.

Very nice! Can't really tell the side mirrors are done cause of the shadows, but I'm sure they look good.

Update: changed to an all parallel circuit instalation, because it is a much better solution. First, the door lights won´t dim a little as they have done and second, if either the door sill or the courtesy lights burn, the other still will work.

yeah end up using all the power on the first few. Parallel is always better instead of series when running more than 1 load

Tinted side windows with 3M CS-50 film. It allows 51% of visible light through the glass and also rejects heat, reduces glare and retards interior fading. Did not like a darker tone, since impairs visibility at night.




Also, run a wire from the pink wire of the interior light to the maps lights cluster in order to have much brighter interior everytime someone opens a door at night. The map lights still work as intended, but also dim when a door is closed and turn off when you left a door opened for a while.

Got the OEM Auto Day/Night Mirror w/Compass as a Father´s day gift. It´s amazing how it works. It takes about an hour for the complete straightforward installation.

Wow, I haven't looked at this thread in a while. Lot of great updates. Cool stuff man.

Done three things this month:

• Bought the OEM interior ambient light.
• Upgraded the interior lights with 3 31mm 5360 white LED festoons instead of the original bulbs. The light output is awesome compared with the OEM bulbs.

• Finally, installed red open door warning lights at each door and a floor facing light at each front door with upgraded t10 4x5050 white LED.
