What does it really do. From the looks of things i think it's like a Relay or GFCI type module.. here's what manufacturer says about it...

      • C-west racing voltage stabillizer
      • High quality Red anodized finish with water resistant coating
      • Keeps consistent voltage to maximise performance
      • Will dramatically improve performance and aperance
      • Easy to install will not require module or trigger check engine light
      • Will work with all 12V battery system's not compatible with 6V systems
      • 4.25"x2.5" cody can be intalled anywhere
      • Light weight cnc machined aluminum with biult in heat sinks
      • Will improve throttle response
      • Improves voltage stability and power supply
      • 0.5ma draw so it will not drain the battery
      • Will gain minimum 3HP and as much as 15HP
    • $%28KGrHqF,!iMFD%29meJw+1BQ9cKo4T0Q~~60_3.JPG

any idea exactly how this works or what it's doing?

:yeahthat:

For HiFi systems cleaner power results in better audio, but the diff is not the kind of thing you get to see in a car audio anyways.

If it only it added HP.

EDIT: whoa, wait....it does!!!!

Great name too....TACO TACO!!!! I want one too! Does it come in shiny blue?

I doubt that there is much in that box at all... the only real voltage stabilizer I know of is Jacobs Accu-volt, but it has been discontinued. It used an automatic switched multiple tap auto transformer to keep the voltage stable, plus capacitors on the output side, and would output up to 16.25 volts ( user set ) from an input as low as 9.5 volts.
