Best tire size for a 18x9 +35 wheel?

I just picked up a set of wheels with the size of 18x9 +35. I was wondering what the best size tire would be. I'm looking at 235/40/18 or would I need to go 235/35/18? I'm lowered on BC racing coilovers and my fenders are rolled.

2014's have 225/40-18 stock
2012-2013's have 215/45-17 stock
