For those who'd like to do some photo editing, but do not want to purchase photoshop, Gimp is a free alternative available for pc and mac users.

Almost everything you can do in photoshop is achievable in gimp.
 
Might have to look at this when I have some free time. Heard of it before but thought it was for Macs only.

it's pretty amazing for open source software. If you're really used to photoshop it's not as polished looking, but it has a lot of the same functions/features.
 
I had GIMP on my old laptop and used it all the time....I got a Macbook Pro now and just haven't bothered to re download it again...probably cause it's winter here and I'm not taking pictures of my car :P
 
I use paint.net, but that's not really photoshop. It's pretty good for editing pics though.

I used to be fairly artistic...then I just lost a lot of it..lmao

I'd love to be able to do that sort of stuff. My uncle is a graphics designer
 
Gimp is fantastic...compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. Great free alternative to Photoshop.
